The McDonalds on McIntosh Road was robbed at about 3 a.m. by three armed suspects.

Two suspects, Jakeem Washington, 23, of Plant City, and Bryant Dexter, 27, of Lakeland were caught. The third suspect is still at large.

The suspects robbed the McDonalds at 6450 McIntosh Road.  One suspect jumped over the counter while the other two stayed in the front.  They ordered four employees to the floor.  When the manager didn’t move fast enough, one of the suspects grabbed her by the neck and shoved her against the drive-thru window.

After receiving cash, the suspects fled the scene in a silver Altima toward Plant City.

Alerts were placed, and a deputy in the area spotted the vehicle at Sydney and Dover roads. Another lieutenant followed the vehicle to Alexander Street, where the vehicle crashed.

All three suspects bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot.  One suspect was apprehended near the vehicle, and a second suspect (who was armed) was located by a K-9 and taken into custody.

Cash and weapons were recovered in the vehicle.

The employee who was shoved was transported to the hospital to be checked for an injury.
