Plant City police found a man in the middle of the road with upper body trauma in the area of East Warren Street after receiving a 911 call at 9:47 p.m. Saturday, July 2. The man died from his injuries.
About 10 minutes later, a 911 call was received from another man in the area, who said he had been shot. Plant City Fire Rescue transported him to a hospital. He had at least one wound to the abdomen. His status is unknown.
The investigation is active and names have not been released. If anyone has any information, they are asked to contact the Plant City Police Department.
