A 33-year-old man died July 26, after collapsed on State Road 574 and was struck by a pickup.
According to Plant City Police Department reports, Santos Noriega was walking eastbound along S.R. 574 during the early-morning hours and collapsed in the roadway for an unknown reason. He was struck by a 1994 Dodge Ram. Noriega died at the scene as a result of the injuries he received during the collision.
The investigation is ongoing. No charges are pending at this time.
