Downtown Plant City will be in the full Halloween spirit on Friday, Oct. 28.
Plant City Main Street announced a series of events for that evening: the monthly food truck rally will be paired with Girls' Night Out and a Paranormal Ghost Tour. The festivities are scheduled to run from 5 to 9 p.m.
The ghost tour is hosted by Chris Koplen, who hosts tours in Ybor City with professional ghost hunting equipment, and will take people to locations such as a haunted train depot and a school.
Girls Night Out sees downtown shops extend their business hours and offer unique deals, discounts and prizes.
There will also be a costume contest, divided into six age groups. Main Street requests that participants not wear masks or clown costumes.
