The Plant City Photo Archives and History Center announced Wednesday that it had assembled a collection of photos, papers and documents from the Magann family.
The Maganns established Plant City roots in 1900, coming from Virginia, and have been in the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World ever since. The collection was formed with help from William B. Magann Jr.
This collection includes family photos, yearbooks, letters and documents. The center is currently in the process of digitizing everything, and is expected to make them available for research purposes in 2016. For additional information, call (813) 754-1578 or email info@plantcityphotoarchives.org.
