Early in the new year, former Plant City mayor Randy L. Larson took on a new role as a Farm Credit of Central Florida director.
Larson is one of two outside directors, board members who are not member-borrowers with Farm Credit. His current term will run through April 2020.
“I am elated to use my experience in order to be a productive stakeholder in this company,” Larson said in a release. “Working alongside other industry and business leaders involved in the central Florida community to help advance Farm Credit of Central Florida’s mission is an exciting opportunity.”
Larson is also on the board of directors for the Tampa Bay Sports Authority and the Plant City Economic Development Corporation.
