South Florida Baptist Hospital will host a farewell reception for outgoing President Steve Nierman from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in the 2 North Administrative Conference Room at the hospital, 301 N. Alexander St., Plant City.
Nierman is leaving the Plant City hospital to serve as president for Winter Haven Hospital.
The transfer comes after Winter Haven Hospital and Tampa Bay area-based BayCare Health System completed all of the steps needed to implement a planned consolidation. Nierman’s first day at Winter Haven was Aug. 30.
