HCSO warns residents of suspicious vehicle that drove by school bus stop

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wants residents to be aware of a suspicious vehicle that drove by a Strawberry Crest High School bus stop March 20.

A concerned parent reported to the school’s resource deputy that a pick up truck drove slowly by the Ike Smith Road bus stop at 6:30 a.m. The male in the truck shouted to a 15-year-old female student, “Hey, come here,” and then drove away.

The driver is identified as a white male, about 40, medium build, with brown unkempt hair and glasses.

The truck is a 1990s red Ford, possibly four-door, with a white Tonneau cover.

The bus stop is located at 6401 Ike Smith Road.
