Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire in Plant City this morning.
A double wide trailer at 4707 Wilder Road was heavily involved. The crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
Because there was a lack of hydrants in the area, water shuttle operations were established.
The residents had evacuated prior to the Hillsborough Country Fire Rescue’s arrival. There were no injuries to civilians or
personnel. Engine 30 was able to rescue three of the family’s four dogs.
The American Red Cross was initiated to help the family with their displacement.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
