Strawberry Crest's coaching search ended about a month sooner than expected.
The school announced Friday afternoon that it hired Ron Hawn to replace Jim Peaden as head football coach. Hawn most recently ran the Tarpon Springs High program from 2011-14, making the playoffs in his final two years before stepping down.
