Jim and Dean Coker celebrated 72 years of marriage Dec. 17, 2014.
They married the day they graduated from high school. Three days later, Jim went to Camp Blanding and was sworn into the United States Army March 17, 1943. He served three years, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. He came back home to Plant City to Dean and their first son, Jamie.
The couple also has two other sons, Danny and Daryl, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
