According to the City of Plant City, "all solid waste collection and disposal services were provided today and will be throughout the weekend. Residential collection will not happen Labor Day, but will resume according to schedule on Tuesday. Commercial collection will occur on Saturday and Monday per normal."
Tips on storm debris
– Place yard and tree debris in piles on the right of way in front of your residence.
– If you have other storm-related garbage, keep it separate from yard and tree debris. Using this separation method will expedite the removal operation. Additionally, yard waste can be recycled if not mixed with garbage.
