During a luncheon, Johnson met with Bob Appleyard and Ali Hasbini of Lakeside Station Logistics Park, a new industrial park, as well as Scott Monahan of Hardie Manufacturing and Jeff Lucas of Central Florida Development. Other business leaders and local government officials also attended the luncheon at Hardie Manufacturing.

Lakeside Station Logistics Park has over 10,000,000 square feet in industrial entitlements and is located close to Interstate 4 and CSX railroads.

“Plant City’s proximity to major roadways as well as Port Tampa Bay is ideal for corporations in industries such as manufacturing, distribution and logistics,” Plant City Mayor Rick Lott said. “Our goal is to continue creating a welcoming environment that is friendly to companies looking to expand their operations and impact on the market and we believe that Secretary Bill Johnson and Enterprise Florida will become a champion for our region.”
