First Baptist Church submits plans for new campus

First Baptist Church of Plant City has submitted plans to the City of Plant City for a new campus on a 53-acre property off James L. Redman Parkway.

The property, which the church owns, is in south Plant City, on the corner of James L. Redman Parkway and Johnson Road.

Plans include a sanctuary, student center, kitchen, music area, chapel, administrative offices and playground. There will also be a plaza, covered drop-off areas, pavilion and an outside recreational area.

The plans indicate future uses, including a 10,000-square-foot social hall on the southeast corner near James L. Redman Parkway and a 15,000-square-foot recreation hall on the northeast corner near Johnson Road and James L. Redman Parkway.
