Durant High School is ready to host the eighth annual Mike Gottman Youth Football Camp in early June.
The four-day camp, held at Durant’s football practice field, covers everything young football players in grades 3 through 9 will need to know about the high school level of the game. There will be drills and other exercises for offense and defense, as well as scrimmages and flag football games throughout each day.
This year’s camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 4 through 7, weather permitting, and the cost is $125 per camper. Registration may be done online at DurantFootballCamps.com, mailed with cash or check to Durant High School, 4748 Cougar Path, Plant City, FL, 33567 or completed in person at the May 26 Future Cougar Day at the school or on-site June 4. Future Cougar Day runs from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Durant gymnasium.
