Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a double shooting that occurred early this morning, in Plant City.
According to Sheriff’s Office reports, at about 3:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a call reference shots fired at 2709 Chorba Drive, in Plant City. Deputies discovered two adult male individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One male with gunshot to upper torso was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital. The other male with a gunshot to the leg was transported to South Florida Baptist Hospital.
At this time, deputies have determined that three adult males had been out drinking and partying at a club, and, sometime after they returned to the trailer on Chorba Drive, shots were fired inside the trailer.
According to deputies, the individuals are intoxicated; they are attempting to interview a third individual. Deputies will have to obtain a search warrant to get inside the trailer.
