County commissioners approve new fire station site

Hillsborough County commissioners approved Sept. 19 to purchase land for a new fire station in Springhead.

The county will purchase 5.5 acres on the north side of Trapnell Road just west of Nesmith Road, for $175,000, from George M. Hamilton, trustee of the George Maurice Hamilton Revocable Living Trust. he total cost to complete this transaction, including closing expenses, is about $190,000.

The county will use the land to build a new fire station to replace Fire Station 25, located on Coronet Road just north of Medulla Road. The new, 9,000-square-foot station, will cost about $2.4 million and is scheduled to be complete in 2014.

The commission also approved a budget amendment to realign $190,000 within the project for Land Acquisition New Fire Stations. This action does not increase the budget for Fire Rescue Services.“>http://watchmycameras.com/vzyat-deneg-do-zarplati-1.php
