SWEEPING THE STREET

Multiple locations.
Vehicle burglary: Complainants at the 1700 and 2700 blocks of Horseshoe Drive stated unknown suspect(s) entered their unlocked vehicles the evening of May 20 and stole items from within. There were also vehicle burglaries at the 110 block of West Bates Street, in which two unlocked vehicles were entered and $900 worth of tools were stolen, and at the 710 block of South Evers Street which saw a Sig Sauer handgun taken from an unlocked vehicle.

HOT FOOD, HOT TEMPER

2000 block of James L. Redman Parkway.
Battery: Complainant stated a fast food restaurant employee’s family member entered the restaurant kitchen to argue with an assistant manager. The family member pushed the complainant during the altercation. Complainant declined to press charges and filed a waiver of prosecution.

TAG, YOU’RE IT

2800 block of James L. Redman Parkway.
Theft: Complainant stated unknown suspect(s) stole their Florida vehicle tag while they were shopping at a home improvement store. The tag was then registered as stolen.
