MAKING A MESS

4600 block of Country Hills Court. Vehicle Burglary. The victim reported someone entered her 2001 silver BMW through the driver’s door and ransacked the interior. The victim stated she did not find any property missing.

ANIMAL HOUSE

4500 block of Country Hills Boulevard. Noise Ordinance Violation. The homeowner was in violation of a city ordinance in reference to loud dogs and birds at this location.

FUNNY MONEY

610 block of North Maryland Avenue. Counterfeit Bill. An unknown black female customer passed a counterfeit $20 bill when she made a purchase and left prior to officers’ arrival. The bill was collected and placed into evidence.

SEEK AND FIND

4600 bock of South Country Hills Court. Attempted Vehicle Burglary. The victim said she left her vehicle unlocked and found someone had gone through the glove box and ransacked the paperwork.

BLOCKBUSTER NIGHT

1510 block of Plantation Grove Court. Vehicle Burglary. During the night, unknown person(s) smashed the passenger-side window out of a car and stole an in-dash DVD player, valued at about $800.

FOUND FIREARM

East Alabama Street near South Waters Street. Found Firearm. Officers received information that a vehicle drove past this location and threw a handgun out the window. Officers searched the area and located a 9 mm Glock 17, serial number ZEO033, in the yard of a residence. The firearm was not listed in FCIC/NCIC as stolen. The firearm was secured and placed in evidence.

GRAND THEFT GOLF CART

2000 block of Clubhouse Drive. Stolen Golf Cart. Golf cart No. 60 was stolen from Walden Lake Golf and Country Club. According to the staff, the cart was last seen parked at 3 a.m. Dec. 3.

CAUGHT RED-HANDED

2600 block of James L. Redman Parkway. Retail Theft. An employee at the store was arrested for stealing merchandise.

THIS ONE DOESN’T BELONG

2500 block of James L. Redman Parkway. Counterfeit Bill. The cashier was unable to determine if anything was purchased with the fake $20 bill discovered in the register. The bill was taken and placed into evidence.

PARTY TIME

2200 block of North Park Road. Retail Theft. An unknown white male suspect stole two 12-packs of beer and fled the scene.

DEC. 7

LOST AND FOUND

2800 block of Blain Acres Road. Firearm Theft. The victim reported a Winchester 22 bolt-action rifle, model 69A, was taken from his residence. The rifle was located at a local pawn shop, where a hold was placed on it, pending further investigation.

CHRISTMAS CHEER

1750 block of Brookstone Way. Residential Burglary. A Realtor stated someone entered the home by pushing in a screen from the pool area. Once inside, a screen was pushed out of a second story window, and the pool screen was cut. A roll of Christmas wrapping paper was hung from the second story balcony. At this time, it is unknown if anything was taken.

CRISIS AVERTED

Intersection of Mahoney and Palmer streets. Warrant Arrest. Officers on bike patrol during the Christmas Parade witnessed a black male riding a motorized scooter with no lights in a parking lot and looking into parked vehicles. Officers made contact and identified the the suspect, who had an outstanding warrant in Polk County for sale of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of cannabis with intent to sell. The suspect was transported to Orient Road Jail.

SMASH AND GRAB

2000 block of North Wheeler Street. Business Burglary. Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking the front-door glass. The cash register was open, and there was miscellaneous rolled change and lottery tickets scattered throughout the floor.

DEC. 8

HOT WHEELS

3610 block of Trapnell Ridge Drive. Stolen Motorcycle. Sometime in the early morning of Dec. 8, unknown suspect(s) stole a 2012 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob from the driveway of the home. The motorcycle was left in the driveway overnight. The license plate number is 1945LS. The motorcycle was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.

SCARY SITUATION

510 block of E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon. Upon officer arrival, the victim was lying on the floor inside the business with a gunshot wound to the upper portion of his right leg. The victim was transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital for treatment.

WAITING GAME

200 block of West Reynolds Street. Loitering and Prowling. The suspext was hiding in the bushes near the ATM at the bank. The business was closed, and the suspect is not a bank customer. The suspect was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

LIFE LESSON

2100 block of James L. Redman Parkway. Retail Theft. A juvenile was arrested for stealing undisclosed merchandise from the store. The juvenile was later released to a parent.anonymizer-odnoklassniki.ru
