The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Plant City Police Department.
Nov. 7
FORGOT SOMETHING?
2100 block of Sycamore Lane. Vehicle burglary. Officer responded to a residence following a reported theft. Complainant stated that unknown suspect(s) stole his wallet, which contained $10, from his vehicle. The car had been left unlocked. The complainant declined to investigate, and signed a waiver of prosecution.
ROOMIE RAGE
1400 block of Plantation Circle. Criminal mischief. Officer responded to a residence following a report of criminal mischief. Complainant stated that her ex-roommate scratched her car and deflated one of the tires. Complainant signed a waiver of prosecution, but did ask about a restraining order.
NOW YOU SEE THEM…
1800 block of Camp Court. Information report. Officer responded to the area in reference to a report of gunshots. The officer got an update, stating that someone followed the unknown suspects through an apartment complex. Upon investigating the complex, the officer made contact with several subjects who, despite acknowledging an altercation on Camp Court, stated that there were no guns or shots fired. No one agreed to cooperate with the investigation, and no evidence was found.

BRIEFCASE BANDIT
400 block of South Hunter Street. Vehicle burglary. Officer responded to a report of vehicle burglary. Complainant stated that, overnight, unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle and stole a briefcase containing $3,000 in cash. The vehicle had been left unlocked. The complainant stated that he just wanted a case number, and signed a waiver of prosecution.
Nov. 9
BURNING RUBBER
600 block of North Vermont Street. Arson. Officer made contact with complainant, who stated that her Chevrolet Malibu had caught on fire. The state fire marshal then took jurisdiction of the case.
Nov. 11
BLOCKED
3800 block of Trapnell Ridge Drive. Grand theft. Officer responded to a report of theft. Complainant stated that unknown suspect(s) stole the tires and rims off of his 2003 Dodge truck.
THIS IS GETTING OLD
200 block of Alexander Woods Drive. Criminal mischief. Officer met with complainant, who stated that unknown suspect(s) had kicked down six PVC fence panels. The repairs were estimated to cost $200, but the complainant declined to press charges. Complainant stated that it was the third time that this incident has occurred in the past few weeks.
PURSE POACHER
1500 block of YMCA Place. Vehicle burglary. Officer responded to a reported vehicle burglary. Complainant stated that unknown suspect(s) smashed out the passenger side window of her Volvo SUV and stole her purse.

CLOSE CALL

1900 block of West Baker Street. Vehicle burglary attempt. Officer responded to a business in reference to a reported vehicle burglary attempt. Complainant stated that unknown suspect(s) had caused damage to the steering/ignition column, possibly in an attempt to steal the vehicle itself.
