While assisting with a crash investigation, an officer arrested a driver for DUI.
Fake It And Run – False Name
1200 block of S Evers St
While investigating a domestic disturbance, one of the involved parties provided a false name and left the scene.
Did I Lock My Door? – Burglary Vehicle
3300 block of Silverpond Dr
An officer met with the victim, who advised she was at a residence cleaning it and believes that while she was inside, someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her wallet. The victim got several notifications that someone was attempting to use one of their cards at a gas station.
August 16
Lock ‘Em Up – Burglary Vehicle/Fraud Arrest
1800 W Baker St
An officer met with the victim, who reported that he left his wallet in his truck when he went inside the business. He realized it a short time later and returned to his truck to find his wallet gone. A short time later, he began to get fraud warnings. A suspect was placed under arrest for vehicle burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card (x2), and felony petit theft (reference prior convictions). The suspect was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Methy Situation – Drug Arrest
N Plant Ave/W Oak Ave
Officers, while assisting with the above burglary/fraud investigation, located the suspect and detained him. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shattering! – Criminal Mischief
200 block of W Tever St
An officer met with the victim, who was inside his residence playing video games, when he heard the rear window of his residence break.
August 17
What a Croc! – Theft
1200 block of W Reynolds St
An officer met with the victims, who stated an unknown subject removed a pair of black and gray Crocs from their backyard and in the process damaged their hose reel and house side panels. The total amount lost was $430.
Popeye – Felony DWLSR
E Reynolds St/N Palmer St
An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when a vehicle drove by with only one operational headlight. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was taken into custody and charged with Felony DWLSR and Operating an Unregistered Vehicle.
August 20
Out Cycle the Police? – Flee to Elude/FAWOV Arrest
Mendonsa Rd/Hunter St
An officer, while assisting with a theft investigation, spotted the suspect operating a bicycle and attempted a traffic stop using lights and siren. The suspect fled several attempts to stop him, going around the officer and defying his lawful commands to stop. The suspect was stopped a short time later and taken into custody for fleeing to elude, RAWOV, and theft. The suspect was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Probably Drove Himself to Court – Felony DWLSR Arrest
Mendonsa Rd/Hunter St
An officer conducted a traffic stop for failure to maintain a lane and an inoperable taillamp. Upon making contact with the driver, he was determined to be DWLSR with five prior convictions. The driver was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Trade In – Felony Shoplifting
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
A subject entered the business with an old bicycle, abandoned it, and selected a new bike valued at $228. He exited without rendering payment and was arrested for felony shoplifting.

Bye, Bye, Bye – Trespassing after Arrest
900 block of S Waller St
An officer made contact with a subject at the listed location. The subject was previously trespassed from the location on 7/31/25. The subject was arrested for trespass after warning and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Tag(less), Your It – Stolen Tag (delayed)
1200 block of S Alexander St
An officer responded to the above-listed location in regards to a delayed stolen tag. Upon arrival, he met with the victim, who advised that he arrived at the location, where he has his trailer stored, to update the registration sticker on his trailer’s license plate. The subject advised that as he approached his trailer, he noticed the tag was missing from the trailer. He advised that the last time he had seen the tag was approximately 1-2 years ago.
Don’t Draw Attention to Your Wanted Self – Warrant Arrest
3200 block of Delaware Ave
Officers responded to the above location in regards to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, an officer met with the complainant, who stated that she and her boyfriend got into a verbal argument over a cell phone, and no physical altercation took place. The officer then met with the boyfriend, who provided the same statement. A FCIC/NCIC check on the boyfriend revealed an outstanding warrant out of Polk County. The warrant was a Writ Bodily Attachment and was confirmed by PCSO and carried a purge bond of $2000. The boyfriend was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.
