An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for having an expired tag. The driver was placed under arrest for Felony DWLSR third or subsequent and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Gunslinger – Vehicle Burglary
500 block of N Palmer St
An officer responded to the location and met with the complainant, who reported that a backpack containing two handguns was taken out of his work vehicle while on a service call.
Should Have Been Chill – Warrant Arrest
4100 block of Hwy 574
An officer responded to a disturbance and made contact with a subject who had an active Hillsborough County warrant for VOP, reckless driving, and FTA DWLSR. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
August 9
Malefactor Afoot – Trespass W/Arrest
200 block of W Alexander St
Officers responded to the location in reference to a possible theft that had just occurred. Officers met with an employee who wished the suspect to be trespassed. It was determined that the suspect had been previously trespassed and he was placed under arrest for trespass after warning.
Cops Against Drunk Driving – DUI
I4 & Thonotosassa Rd
An officer responded to the area after the report of a driver previously unable to maintain a lane of travel and driving without headlights on. Contact was made with a subject stopped on the side of the roadway and the driver was observed asleep in the driver’s seat. The driver was determined to be impaired, placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Hunt ‘Em Down – Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to the residence in reference to a subject having an outstanding arrest warrant. The officers met with the subject, at which time the felony warrant was confirmed and he was placed under arrest.
August 11
Two Wheel Rollin – Bike Theft
1500 block of Plantation Grove Ct
An officer responded to the police station in reference to a stolen bicycle. The complaint stated that an unknown subject cut the chain/lock he placed on the bicycle at the bike rack.
Bet They Were Disappointed – Theft
700 block of Whitehall St
An officer met with the victim, who reported that an unknown subject stole a delivery/package from the front porch. The package contained Chapstick valued at $10.
Light ‘Em Up – DUI/DWLSR/Fleeing Arrest
W Dr King Blvd/Waller St
An officer attempted a traffic stop at N Alexander St and Sammonds Rd due to operating without headlights. Contact was made with the driver, who was determined to be DWLSR and DUI. The driver was charged with DUI, RAWOV, fleeing to elude, and DWLSR third offence.

An officer met with the complainant, who advised that on June 3, her vehicle was scratched and damaged while parked in the driveway of her residence.

Officers met with the complainant, who reported a delayed theft to the Plant City Police Department after a package containing a $315 Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Saturnite tabletop board game failed to arrive at his home on July 28.
Need To Put Out Fires? – Theft
1500 block of N Frontage Rd
An officer responded to and met the complainant. The complainant stated an unknown subject removed a Master Meter Hydrant Meter Assembly and a Wilkins 750 2-inch Backflow Assembly from a property. The total amount lost was $2,000.
Bad Tag – CCI
Jim Johnson Rd/E Alexander St
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a temporary tag. A query of the license plate did not come back to the vehicle that it was attached to. The officer met with the driver and explained the reason for the stop. The driver was unable to explain the reason for the unregistered vehicle and was issued a criminal citation for such.
Two Charges for You! – Drug Arrest/DWLSR

While conducting proactive patrol, an officer observed a vehicle southbound on S. Collins St. A query of the license plate returned with a seize tag order, and the vehicle was not the correct type of vehicle that the license plate was registered to. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and met with the driver, and requested her documents. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and DWLSR (3rd Offense). The driver was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Spicy – Drug Investigation/Arrest
100 block of E J Arden Mays Blvd
An officer responded to the business in reference to two homeless subjects sleeping in front of the entry door, blocking customers from entering. Both subjects were identified and found to be in possession of narcotics and were arrested for possession of synthetic cannabinoids and drug paraphernalia.
Catwoman, That You? – Loitering and Prowling
100 block of W Spencer St
An officer responded to the residence in reference to the homeowner/complainant stating a female was lurking around her property and attempted to open the door by turning the doorknob. The suspect was found in the cemetery across the street from the victim’s residence and was identified. The subject was placed under arrest for loitering and prowling, along with violation of probation.
