Officers responded to the above location in reference to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with the subject, who was confirmed to have selected an item from within the store and attempted to return it to customer service using a receipt. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Last Dance with Mary Jane – Drug Investigation

An officer conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation. The driver was placed under arrest for possession of cannabis concentrate and possession of cannabis under 20 grams. The driver was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Not Coming Home – DUI W/Property Damage

An officer, while assisting with a crash investigation, became aware of the driver potentially being impaired. A DUI investigation was conducted, and the driver was placed under arrest for DUI with property damage and NVDL.

An officer responded to the location regarding a suspicious vehicle parked and occupied. Contact was attempted with the occupant, who was sleeping in the driver’s seat. The occupant was arrested for DUI.
Shattered – Criminal Mischief

Officers responded to the location in reference to a criminal mischief. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, who parked his vehicle at approximately 3:00 a.m. in the morning. When the victim exited his apartment and approached his vehicle at 5:30 a.m., he observed the front windshield to be damaged with a rod lying over the top.

An officer was conducting traffic enforcement and made a stop on a vehicle for having only one headlight. Contact was made with the driver, who was taken into custody and charged with Possession of cannabis more than 20 grams, and a separate ECRA was completed for Violation of Probation. He was transported to Orient Road Jail.

An officer responded to the location and met with loss prevention, who advised a subject was opening packaging and concealing the merchandise in a bag. The subject was arrested for retail theft and released with a court date.

W Grant St/Waller St
An officer responded to assist with a crash investigation and made contact with a subject who showed signs of impairment, and a separate DUI investigation was conducted. The subject was charged with DUI, NVDL, and released to HCSO booking.

Semi-Charmed Life – Drug Investigation

Officers entered the wooded area above and made contact with a subject who was found to be in possession of a loaded syringe containing methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with other items of drug paraphernalia. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Unemployment Needed – Employee Theft
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer met with loss prevention, who reported that an employee had committed a theft of $117 worth of merchandise while working. The subject admitted to the offense, showed remorse, and had no criminal history. An APAD was completed, and the subject was released.
