Big Bang – Criminal Mischief
700 block of N Palm Dr
An officer responded to the location and met with the victim, who stated he was sitting in the living room of his residence and heard a loud bang coming from the bathroom. He stated that he walked to the bathroom located on the southwest side of his residence and observed his girlfriend, startled and shaken. He advised that she believed a large firework was shot through the window and into the bathroom while she was sitting on the toilet. The victim advised that he then observed a hole in his bathroom window with glass shattered around the window from and into the bathtub.
No License to Drive – Criminal Citation

An officer was conducting radar speed measurement at the above location. The officer conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver. When the officer requested the driver’s license, the driver stated he didn’t have one and never had one issued.
Lights Out – Criminal Citation
S Collins St/W Prosser Dr
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had no headlights or taillights on after sunset. The officer met with the driver and requested his driver’s license, at which time he stated he did not have a license and never had one issued, only an ID card.
Drunk or Blind? – DUI/Damage to city property
S Park Rd/E Hwy 92
An officer had his fully marked patrol vehicle stopped in the northbound inside lane of S. Park Rd. just south of Hwy. 92 east. He had all of his emergency equipment activated at the time, along with the directional arrow on the rear of his overhead light bar. He was blocking the northbound lane for Brewington’s towing, who was clearing a flat-bed trailer that had broken down in the lane and was causing a traffic hazard. A vehicle traveling in the inside northbound lane of S. Park Rd. drove straight into the rear of the marked patrol vehicle. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to Orient Road Jail.
July 5
Can You Hear Me? – Vehicle Burglary Delayed
1500 block of E Alabama St
An officer responded to the location and met with the victim, who stated, “Someone went into my vehicle and took my AirPods because when I was sitting on the phone while inside my house, I noticed my AirPods were connecting to my phone, but I was not the one using them. I usually keep my AirPods in my car, and my car cannot lock, so I think someone went into it and took them. I answered a phone call from my friend, and then the AirPods connected to my phone, and once they connected, they disconnected it.”
For A Fruit Punch? – Felony Petit Theft
600 block of N Maryland Ave
An officer responded to the location to assist an officer who was working in an off-duty capacity at the location. Upon his arrival, he met with the officer, who relayed the following: a subject drank a Brisk Fruit Punch valued at $1.89 without rendering payment. The subject was charged with Felony Petit Theft and transported to Orient Road Jail.
You Again? – Trespass After Warning
1100 block of S Park Rd
An officer responded to the location regarding a subject who had returned after being trespassed from the business. Upon arrival, the officer observed the subject sitting on the ground near the entrance. A check of the Plant City Police Department Trespass files found the subject was trespassed on 05/23/2025. The subject was then placed under arrest for trespass after warning. A new trespass warning was completed for the business, and the subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
July 7
No One Will Notice – Retail Theft Arrest
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the location in reference to an in-progress theft. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the Loss Prevention Officer. Two adult subjects and a juvenile were observed exiting the store with a shopping cart containing merchandise and were detained for further investigation. Due to the juvenile’s presence during the commission of the theft, both subjects were additionally charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both have prior theft convictions, which resulted in one being charged with Felony Petit theft and one being charged with Misdemeanor theft. All three individuals were trespassed from the business for a period of one year.
July 8
Seems Sketch – Grand Theft
500 block of N Thomas St
Officers responded to the Plant City Police Department (PCPD) lobby in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that she had hired someone to finish work on her home and allowed him to borrow her truck while doing the work. The victim is moving and due to the hired worker not returning her vehicle when agreed upon, and not returning her calls, she requested to report it as stolen. Teletype was sent to Pinellas County in an attempt to contact him at his home address; however met with negative results for the truck or contact with the worker. The vehicle was shown to be in St. Petersburg as of July 7. The vehicle was entered into FCIC as stolen. The victim stated she did not wish to file criminal charges and only wanted her vehicle back.

Officers responded to the area in reference to three suspicious persons in all dark clothing and masks possibly entering vehicles in the area. Two juveniles were arrested.
