Carpe Tag – Seized Tag

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. A computer check returned a seize tag, suspended driver’s license as of Feb 18, and no insurance. The driver was issued for speeding, UTC DWLSR, and the tag was removed from the vehicle and entered into PCPD evidence.

500 block of N Alexander St
An officer made contact with a subject who he believed to be trespassed from the location. It was confirmed the subject had been trespassed on March 16, 2025. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.
So Many Things – Drug Investigation
800 block of W Dr MLK Jr Blvd
An officer observed a subject at the location, which she was trespassed, as she was exiting the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a cardboard license plate stating “lost FL Tag.” Contact was made with the subject, and trespass warning was confirmed. The subject was charged with possession of a controlled substance, operating an unregistered vehicle, attaching a tag not assigned, and trespass in an occupied structure or conveyance. The subject was issued two Uniform Traffic Citations, operating an unregistered vehicle, and attaching a tag not assigned to vehicle. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
No Mail Pickup – Trespass After Warning

An officer made contact with a subject who was sleeping on property she had previously been trespassed from as of February 1, 2025. The trespass was confirmed, the subject was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.
June 15
Smashing – Criminal Mischief
1000 block of S Alexander St
An officer responded to the location in reference to the report of a delayed criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim found his truck with the front windshield shattered, along with both side mirrors and both taillights broken.
Three Strikes – NVDL/Arrest
Griffin Blvd/Hampton Place Ct
An officer was dispatched to the area in reference to a report of a reckless driver. The driver was placed under arrest for NVDL – third or subsequent offense. The driver was transported to Orient Road Jail.
June 16
Need a Snack – Shoplifting
2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy
Officers responded to the location and met with staff who advised that several packages of chicken nuggets and French fries were stolen.
Bye-cycle – Theft
300 block of S Frontage Rd
An officer was advised of a stolen bicycle with a value of $500.
June 18
Late Night Lumbering – Theft
1800 block of Tropical Oasis Ave
Officers responded to the area in reference to the report of a delayed theft of construction materials. The complainant, a supervisor for the builder, reported that sometime the night prior, after 6:00 p.m., someone had taken approximately $400 worth of 2×4 lumber from the job site.
Sucker! – Petit Theft/Warrant Arrest
1300 block of W Dr MLK Jr Blvd
Officers responded to the location and made contact with the victim, who reported fuel siphoned from his tank. While on scene, a different subject was discovered to have an active VOP warrant out of Manatee County for DWLSR with no bond. An officer placed the subject under arrest for the warrant, and he was transported to Orient Road Jail.

The Hand That Feeds You – Retail Theft
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the location and met with Loss Prevention, who reported they discovered an employee took $290.30 worth of merchandise without permission from April 2025 – June 2025. The subject was APAD eligible and agreed to report for the program.
