You Can’t Stay Here – Trespass After Warning

2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy

Officers observed a known subject on the property and learned that he was under a current/valid trespass warning. He was stopped, placed under arrest, and transported to Orient Road Jail. 

Was It Worth It? – Retail Petit Theft

2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy

An officer responded to the location in reference to a retail theft investigation. During the investigation, it was determined that the subject concealed merchandise valued at $34.94 inside her purse and subsequently passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Ghost Tap – Fraudulent Use of a 

Credit Card

200 block of W Alexander St

Officers responded to the location and made contact with the victim, who reported unauthorized transactions on his credit card. He advised his credit card was used at two locations, resulting in a total loss of $230.82.

PCPD With The Assist – Assist Other Agency

579/92

After transporting an arrestee to Orient Road Jail, an officer was traveling eastbound on I-4 when he observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. Based on the observed driving behavior, the officer conducted a traffic stop. The stop occurred within the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction, and HCSO deputies responded to the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation. Upon completion of the investigation, HCSO arrested the driver for DUI.

Theft/VOP

Officers responded to the location in reference to a retail theft. Upon investigation, it was determined that a subject selected $67.60 worth of merchandise and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The subject was arrested, charged, and then transported to Orient Road Jail.  

Three Sheets to the Wind – Disorderly Intoxication

3400 block of W Baker St

An officer responded to the location in reference to a disturbance and made contact with a subject. Upon investigation, it was determined that the subject was intoxicated in a public place and causing a disturbance. The subject was arrested for Disorderly Intoxication and transported to Orient Road Jail. 

Et Tu Hammered? – Disorderly 

Intoxication/False Name

300 block of S Frontage Rd

An officer responded to the location in reference to a disturbance and made contact with a subject. Upon investigation, it was determined that the subject was intoxicated in a public place and causing a disturbance. The subject was arrested for Disorderly Intoxication and False Name to Law Enforcement Officer, then transported to Orient Road Jail. 

June 1

Crash & Dash – Hit and Run/Arrest

2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy

An officer responded to the location in reference to a hit and run crash. Contact was made with the complainant, who advised a vehicle rear-ended his vehicle before the driver left the scene without providing required information. The subject was charged with DUI, Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Property Damage, Refusal to Submit to Testing and DWLSR, and transported to Orient Road Jail. 

June 2

Trifecta – Trespassing after, Possession of Drugs, and RAWOV

1700 block of James L Redman Pkwy

An officer made contact with a subject after the business manager requested that she be trespassed from the property. The subject was charged with Trespass on Property Other Than a Structure or Conveyance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting an Officer Without Violence. 

About A Tankful – Fraud

500 block of N Turkey Creek Rd

An officer responded to the location regarding a delayed fraud reported by a business involving approximately $7,926.69 in unauthorized charges on a company fuel card. 

License? – DWLSR

N Wheeler St/Paul Buchman Hwy

An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing it run a stop sign. Contact was made with the driver, who was arrested for DWLS second or subsequent offense, issued a citation for the stop sign violation, and transported to Orient Road Jail. 

Beg Pardon? – Vehicle Burglary with Theft, Loitering and Prowling

1100 block of Valencia Rd

An officer responded to the location in reference to a suspicious person and located a subject shaking a locked gate while partially undressed. The subject was issued a trespass warning and charged with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, possession of a controlled substance, loitering/prowling, and felony petit theft before being transported to Orient Road Jail.
