An officer was patrolling the area when he observed the suspect, who was known to him to have an active Hillsborough County warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the suspect was transported to Orient Road Jail.

1700 block of Turkey Creek Rd
An officer responded to the area in reference to the complainant observing an unresponsive male inside a running vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, who was charged with DUI and NVDL.
Party Time – Shoplifting
2700 block of Thonotosassa Rd
An officer met with the staff, who advised that a subject entered the store and selected several alcoholic beverages totaling $41.49 and exited the store without rendering payment for the items.
May 24
No License to Drive – CCI
E Baker St/N Michigan Ave
While conducting traffic, an officer observed a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was initiated, and contact was made with the driver, who was found to have never been issued a Florida driver’s license. The driver was issued a citation for unlawful speed and given a summons for NVDL and released.
Bite the Hand that Feeds You – Retail Theft

An officer responded to the location due to an employee stealing from the business. Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect, who is an employee of the business, had stolen merchandise totaling a loss of $583.75. The suspect was released with an APAD.
Light Up My Life – Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer/Resist Arrest W/O Violence

An officer conducted a traffic stop on two subjects on bicycles riding on public roads with no lights. During the stop, one of the subjects fled on her bicycle. The officer was able to maintain visual contact and other officers were able to stop her a short distance away. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Faker! – Fraud
2000 block of N Wheeler St
On May 24, an officer responded to the location in reference to a report of fraudulent use of a credit card. Upon arrival, the officer discovered that a suspect had attempted the day prior to use a credit card that was flagged as a fraudulent transaction. When the card was confiscated, the suspect left the store.
Wrong Place, Wrong Time – Supplement (PC Pick-up Drug Investigation)
900 block of N Knight St
Officers were on scene at the location for an unrelated call when a subject who possessed an active PC pick-up for possession of drug paraphernalia was observed in the area. Contact was made with the subject, who was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
You Gotta Go – Trespass
2600 block of Thonotosassa Rd
An officer responded to the location and made contact with the suspect. While on scene, the suspect was trespassed from the business; however, after being trespassed, the suspect ultimately refused to vacate the premises. Therefore, the suspect was arrested for trespass after warning and transported to Orient Road Jail.
May 27
Pop a Squat – Warrant Arrest
700 block of W Warren St
Officers met with the complainant, who wished to complete an open trespass due to his property being vacant and possibly homeless being within. A trespass affidavit was completed and the homeowner stood by while officers checked inside the home. Two subjects were located inside. One of the subjects was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Okeechobee County for VOP petit theft. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was placed under arrest. Both subjects were trespassed from the property.
