New Sleeping Arrangements Made – Drug Investigation
2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person possibly sleeping inside a vehicle parked next to a business. Officers observed a subject asleep in the driver’s seat. After an investigation, the subject was placed under arrest for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Building Materials for Sale – Theft
2700 block of Bryce Ravine Ave
An officer made contact with the complainant, who reported that approximately $600 worth of building materials had been stolen from a single-family residence currently under construction.

Can You Hear Me Now? – Theft
700 block of S. Collins St
An officer responded to the location in reference to the report of a delayed cell phone theft. The officer met with the victim, who stated he was previously inside the location and placed his cell phone on the counter while he waited and then left. A short time later, he realized he left his cell phone and returned to find the cell phone was gone.
It’s Pulling to the Right – DUI arrest
Interstate 4 & N Alexander St
An officer observed a vehicle traveling at approximately 60 mph in the southernmost lane of Interstate 4 with a flat front passenger side tire, emitting visible sparks due to friction. A traffic stop was conducted near the SR 400 eastbound exit ramp at North Park Rd. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI.

It’s Not Free – Felony Petit Theft
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
Officers responded to the location in reference to shoplifting. The officers met with Loss Prevention, along with the suspect. The suspect was observed selecting items and exiting without rendering payment. The suspect was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
And Another One – Theft Arrest
2600 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the location in reference to a subject observed by Loss Prevention concealing items of merchandise on his person, including unboxing a knife. The subject was placed under arrest and charged with possession of an antishoplifting device and petit theft. He was transported to Orient Road Jail.

Pete And Repeat – Construction Theft
2700 Bryce Ravine Ave
Officers responded to the construction area and met with the complainant, who stated two exterior doors, 50 sheets of plywood, and one shower pan had been removed from the residence under construction.
May 20
Un-Wired – Burglary – Materials Theft
500 block of W Herring St
Officers responded to the location and met with the complainant, who stated the residence under construction was missing electrical wiring (which was installed) and had a damaged window.
Stop Driving Already – NVDL/Warrant Arrest
W Reynolds St and N John Martin St
An officer conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver, who verbally identified himself. The driver was found to be NVDL and had two active warrants, one from Hillsborough County and the other from Pinellas County. The warrants were confirmed, and the driver was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.

No Occifer – DUI
West Baker St and Whitehurst Rd
An officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle swerving and exceeding the posted speed limit. Upon making contact with the driver, he was charged with Driving Under the Influence – Refusal to Submit and Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.

N Park Rd at E Cherry St
An officer conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver, reference tint on the front windshield. The driver was arrested for driving while license suspended (habitual offender), and he was transported to Orient Road Jail.
