Officers responded and met with the victim, who stated that while at the car wash, he left his wallet on the front seat of his unlocked vehicle while he went to get quarters. Upon his return to the vehicle, his wallet was missing.
Riding Under the Influence – Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids
Officers responded to a call of a subject down in the ditch near the listed location and located a subject who was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Trike Thievery – Theft/Criminal Mischief
300 block of Park Springs Circle
An officer responded to the location in reference to the theft of a bicycle. Contact was made with the victim, who advised that her three-wheeled bicycle, which was secured via lock and chain, had been stolen from the exterior of the residence.

An officer responded to the business in reference to a theft of beer that had occurred approximately 10 minutes prior. Two subjects were located and taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Jesus Take The Wheel – DUI
E Baker St and N Michigan Ave
An officer responded to the location in reference to a van stopped in the roadway and a subject sleeping at the wheel. The sleeper was placed under arrest for DUI.

Don’t Fall For It – Fraud
100 block of W Baker St
Officers responded to the location in reference to a subject attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Officers met with the subject and, after an interview, it was determined that the subject was a victim of a remote job task scam.

Starting a Lawn Care Business – Theft
1800 Wilkins Ave
An officer responded to the location in reference to the report of a delayed theft of lawn equipment. The victim stated yesterday (May 12) he noticed someone had stolen his weed-eater from his front yard and a push lawn mower from his backyard. Both items were valued at approximately $175.
Cut the Cord – Criminal Mischief
1700 block of W Palmetto Ave
An officer responded to the location in reference to the report of a delayed criminal mischief. The victim stated someone cut the Wi-Fi cable outside her residence.

Ok Corral – Drug Investigation
Wheeler St/Calhoun St
An officer was en route to a call for service referencing a subject brandishing a firearm in the parking lot of Bruton Memorial Library. The officer made contact with the subject, who was arrested and transported to Orient Road Library.
In Cahoots – Burglary Vehicle
4300 block of E US 92
An officer responded to the location at the request of Lakeland PD. LPD had been flagged down in reference to a vehicle burglary that had just occurred, and was able to locate the suspect nearby. Upon investigation, the suspect was placed under arrest for burglary and possession of synthetic cannabis.
