An officer responded to the above-listed location and learned that on April 27, five tester bottles of perfume valued at $809 were stolen.
Oh Damp – Criminal Mischief
1200 block of W Grant St
Officers responded to the location in reference to a delayed criminal mischief report. Contact was made with a teacher who explained that the day prior, water was poured on her school-issued laptop.
3 For One – DUI
E Alexander St/Walden Woods Dr
An officer conducted a traffic stop for following too closely and speeding (58mph in a 40mph zone). The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Repeat Offender – Trespassing After
2700 block of Thonotosassa Rd
Officers responded to the area in reference to a homeless person causing a disturbance with customers. Officers located the subject walking around the property and going inside the business. A local query check revealed that the subject had a prior trespass warning from the business. The subject was taken into custody, and an ECRA was completed. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Odorific Pilferage – Theft
200 block of W Alexander St
An officer met with employees who reported that a subject stole $1,400 worth of perfume from the display and fled.
May 10
Money Tree is Empty – Trespassing
After Arrest
2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy
Officers located and contacted a subject inside the business. A records check revealed the subject had previously been issued a trespass warning for the property on January 17. The subject was placed under arrest and charged with trespass in an occupied structure or conveyance and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Bashing – Criminal Mischief
2700 block of Thonotosassa Rd
Officers responded to the listed address in reference to a call regarding a damaged vehicle possibly involved in a shooting. Contact was made with the caller, who was the owner of the vehicle. The complainant advised that she was in town with family for a baseball tournament, staying at the hotel, and that the vehicle had been parked at the hotel since 6:00 p.m. the evening prior and had no damage at that time. When the complainant walked out to the vehicle, there were impact marks all over it, totaling at least $1,000 in damages.

Look for a New Build – Theft
3800 block of Northern Key Dr
An officer responded to the location in reference to a delayed theft from multiple construction sites. Contact was made with a representative, who reported that wood siding was stolen from two residences under construction and an interior garage entry door was stolen from a third residence.
We Don’t Want to Handle It – Recovered Stolen Firearm
One Police Place
An officer responded to the police department and met with a subject who surrendered a gun he purchased from a subject in the county after he discovered it had been stolen. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to the subject who sold the stolen firearm residing in their jurisdiction, as well as the transaction taking place in their jurisdiction, and declined to respond. The gun was collected for evidence and removed from FCIC/NCIC by Pinellas SO.

Officers conducted a business check at the location and made contact with several known homeless subjects. One subject was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Buggy Buccaneering – Theft
E Alsobrook St/S Park Rd
An officer placed a subject under arrest for theft of a shopping cart and possession of cannabis. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
Snowy Stop – Warrant Arrest
2400 block of James L Redman Pkwy
An officer conducted a traffic stop and located a subject who had an active Polk County warrant for possession of cocaine. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Gotcha! – Warrant Arrest
600 block of Lincoln St
Officers made contact with a subject who had an active Polk County warrant for VOP Petit Theft. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.

No License to Drive – DWLS W/Knowledge and RAWOV
James L Redman Pkwy/Charlie Griffin Rd
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a car regarding an expired tag. The driver was arrested and charged with DWLS with knowledge, RAWOV, and an outstanding FTA warrant. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
