Officers responded to the location in reference to the report of a delayed theft. The complainant stated that sometime this week, someone had stolen multiple air conditioning pads valued at approximately $75 each.

Officers responded to the location in reference to a male subject being inside the cosmetics section, possibly committing lewd acts. Officers located the subject who has an active trespass for the business and was in violation. He was placed under arrest for trespass after warning and, in addition, was charged with petit theft. He was transported to Orient Road Jail.

An officer responded to the location and met with the management and the victim, who reported cell phone video was taken over the top of a bathroom stall without the victim’s consent.
That’s Methy – Drug Investigation
200 block of W Renfro St
An officer responded to the above location in reference to an unknown individual sleeping beneath a park bench. Upon arrival, contact was made with the subject, who was frantically gathering items scattered on the ground in front of the bench. The subject was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a drug not prescribed. The subject was transported to Orient Road Jail.
That’s a Lot of Loot – Grand Theft Auto/Grand Theft
2000 block of S. Frontage Rd
An officer responded to the above location in reference to a delayed grand theft auto complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, who advised that $8,000 in cash and her car keys had been stolen from her purse, and her vehicle was stolen.

Officers responded to the above location in reference to a complaint of someone trespassing. The officers met with the subject who has an active trespass valid until September 9, 2025. The subject was placed under arrest for trespass after warning and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Just Pay For Your Ride – Aggravated Assault w/Firearm
1500 block of Plantation Grove Ct
Officers arrived at the location in reference to an adult male stating he was an Uber driver and had just been shot at after picking up and dropping off a customer. The subject was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transported to Orient Road Jail.
You Can’t Hide! – Warrant Arrest
1700 James L Redman Pkwy
An officer responded to the above location in reference to a subject with a possible warrant. Upon arrival, contact was made with a subject working in the store. An FCIC/NCIC check revealed the subject had two active warrants out of Polk County Sheriff’s Office for criminal mischief and no valid driver’s license, bond $2,500. The warrants were confirmed and the subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Sleep Tight – DUI Arrest
Paul Buchman Highway/Hilmer Ave
Officers responded to the above location in reference to a truck stopped within the roadway. The caller reported that the driver appeared to be slumped over the wheel and the vehicle was in drive with the driver’s foot on the brake pedal. An officer met with the driver, who was placed under arrest for DUI.
Oops – DUI Arrest

An officer responded to a report of a vehicle disabled in a ditch. Upon arrival, contact was made with the driver, who was arrested for DUI and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Wild, Wild West – Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Felon in poss. of a Firearm Arrest (X2)
700 block of N Maryland Ave
Officers responded to the above location in reference to neighbors armed with firearms exchanging gunfire. One subject was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and one was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Both subjects were transported separately to Orient Road Jail.

Gotcha – Vehicle Burglary/Arrest
100 block of Burchwood Ave
Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a subject being located in the caller’s vehicle. The subject fled the scene on foot prior to officers arriving. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to JAC.

Clean Getaway – Theft
4000 block of Northern Key Dr
An officer responded to the area in reference to stolen construction materials being taken from the construction site. The officer met with the complainant, a representative with Lennar Homes, who reported that someone had stolen two doors and a bathtub all valued at approximately $2,050.00.
Grand Prix on Drugs – DWLSR/Drug Possession
E Alabama St/N Maryland Ave
While patrolling the area, an officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on E. Alabama St approaching N Maryland Ave. The vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign and nearly caused a collision in the intersection before abruptly stopping in the parking lot of a business. The driver was detained and subsequently arrested for possession of synthetic cannabis and DWLSR. He was transported to Orient Road Jail.
