An officer responded to the location in reference to a trespassing complaint involving a subject sleeping on the loading dock. Officers made contact with the subject, and a records check revealed an active Hillsborough County warrant for Failure to Appear – Criminal Mischief. The subject was placed under arrest and additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia before being transported to Orient Road Jail.
Pain in the Glass – Criminal Mischief
1700 block of Johnson Pointe Dr
An officer responded to a residence regarding vandalism to a vehicle. The victim reported he parked his vehicle on the roadway in front of the residence the previous evening and discovered the rear window broken when leaving for work in the morning.

3400 block of Hazel Hollow Way
An officer made contact with a subject who had an active Polk County warrant for felon in possession of a firearm. The subject was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail.

No Firearm for You – Felon in Possession of a Firearm
1000 block of W Washington St
An officer responded to a residence in reference to a disturbance between family members. During the investigation, officers learned that a subject had been yelling during an argument and was possibly in possession of a firearm despite being a convicted felon. The subject was placed under arrest for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and transported to Orient Road Jail.

Army of Thieves – Burglary to Business
1700 block of W Baker St
An Officer responded to the business in reference to a delayed burglary. An employee reported arriving to open the business and discovering the safe open with $497 in cash missing from a register drawer inside.
Special Un-Delivery – Theft of Mail
3200 block of Kilmer Dr
An officer responded to the residence in reference to a report of mail theft. The victim reported that two unknown male subjects arrived on stand-up electric scooters and removed mail from his mailbox.
No Dollars, No Dine – Obtaining food with intent to defraud
200 block of W Alexander St
An officer responded to the business in reference to a theft. Staff reported a suspect ordered food and drinks totaling $35.90 and attempted to pay with multiple debit/credit cards, all of which were declined or expired. Afterwards, the suspect left without paying.
That’s How They Roll – Retail Theft
200 block of W Alexander St
An officer responded to the location and met with the manager, who reported the theft of two full carts of groceries.
Pre-Party – DUI
W Baker St/N Woodrow Wilson St
An officer responded to the intersection to assist Strawberry Festival units with a possible impaired driver. Contact was made with the driver, and impairment was determined, and he was charged with DUI and NVDL.
Huffle Huff – Inhalation of a Harmful Substance
2600 block of Thonotosassa Rd
Officers responded to the location in reference to a female lying on the sidewalk. The subject was charged with inhalation of a harmful substance and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Money Laundering – Theft
1100 block of S Collins St
An officer responded to the location and met with the complainant who reported her backpack containing her wallet, cash, and debit cards was taken when she stepped away briefly while doing laundry.

Hide and Find – Warrant Arrest
1700 block of Cedar Dr
An officer made contact with a subject who had active warrants for resist with violence, driving under the influence with property damage or personal injury, and refusal to submit to testing out of Hillsborough County. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Orient Road Jail.
Summer is Almost Here – Theft of AC unit
1400 block of Plantation Blvd
Officers responded to the location in reference to a delayed theft. An officer met with the property manager, who stated that an A/C unit worth approximately $2,100 was stolen from the property.
No Camping – Trespass Arrest
209 S Frontage Rd
An Officer located a subject at a known homeless camp on posted property where there have been ongoing homeless issues, including a recent brush fire. The property is posted with city-issued signs, and the subject acknowledged seeing the no trespassing signs and choosing to enter and remain on the property in defiance of the posted signs. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to Orient Road Jail.
That’s Methy – Drug Arrest
900 block of Waller St
Officers were on a suspicious person/trespass call in reference to two subjects loitering in the park after hours. During the contact, a subject was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and transported to Orient Road Jail.

An officer made contact with a subject on the property. The subject was previously trespassed from the business on 01/29/2026. The subject was placed under arrest and charged with trespassing on property other than structure or conveyance and transported to Orient Road Jail.
