Center offers after-school program

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center is offering an after-school program geared for youths from 5 to 13.

The program will run from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on school days. It costs $150 per 18-week semester. Transportation from Burney, Jackson, Bryan, Wilson and Lincoln elementary schools is available for an additional $25.

Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, at the center, 1601 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
