One teenager is dead and another has life-threatening injuries after the car they were in struck a tree on Saturday, July 23.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Dylan Pulaski, 17, was speeding north on Cooper Road with Cordasha Hutchinson, also 17, in the passenger's seat. The 2007 gold Chevrolet Suburban they were in went off the east side of the road south of Knights Griffin Road West and hit a tree.
Hutchinson died at the scene, deputies said. Authorities flew Pulaski to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
