The Friends of the Bruton Memorial Library will be holding its annual clearance book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 18 and 19, at the library, 302 W. McLendon St. There also will be a preview sale for Friends members from 9 to 10 a.m. Jan. 18.
The Friends will offer a massive collection of the year’s donations of all categories of books, as well as books on cassette, at low prices.
Funds raised by the Friends pay for enhancements to the library, including children’s special programs during the summer, the Book Page subscription, the children’s aquarium and more.
