Reece Brown's ready to get back in the saddle next week.
The Plant City High student will compete in the 24th annual International Finals Youth Rodeo, which will be held Sunday, July 10, through Friday, July 15, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The rodeo is billed as the richest youth rodeo in the world, as Brown will compete for a share of over $200,000.
The 2016 competition will see 800 high schoolers from around the country try their hand at roping, barrel racing, pole bending, riding and more events. The top 15 performers in each event will compete for the championships on July 15.
