The Plant City Police Department is seeking information regarding a Jan. 15 daytime robbery.
According to police reports, at about 4:38 p.m., a white male entered the BP gas station, 2010 N. Wheeler St. After waiting for the other patrons to leave the store, the suspect approached the counter with an 18-pack of Busch beer and brandished a handgun. He pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded she give him the money from the register. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled from the scene on foot.
The suspect is was described as a white male in his late 30s, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7, slim to medium build, short, dark hair and a mustache. He was wearing a green shirt with blue-jean overalls and a white cowboy hat.
