After an extremely tough decision, we are excited to announce Deanna Garner as the winner of our Band Perry Prize Pack, which includes two festival tickets and two tickets to the concert, which takes place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9.
We asked readers to tell us why they were Plant City youth pop group NRG’s biggest fan. We appreciated Deanna’s answer, particularly about the group’s desire to share a love of music with children.
Here’s her complete response:
“My daughter, Gracie, is a huge fan of The Band Perry. I know NRG was created on the platform of getting kids involved in music and realizing their dreams in the music industry. Gracie has never been to a concert, and this would be a dream come true for her! She excels academically as a home-schooled student and is always happy to help with her younger siblings and household chores, often taking the “back seat” and putting others first. Gracie makes us proud every day, and I would love to surprise her with a “date” with Mommy on Sunday. … And an Amish donut while we’re there! :)”
Who knows? Perhaps one day, we’ll see Gracie on the Wish Farms Soundstage!
