Saturday, July 30

The Our Dream Kitchen gallery will be handing out supplies for students going into a new school semester, on July 30.

It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the business located at 1008 N. Park Rd.

Students must be present to receive school supplies which include five notebooks, a pack of pencils, a pack of crayons, a pack of markers, two glue sticks, and two folders. For more information, contact the gallery at (813) 652-8172.

Monday, Aug. 1

The Plant City Kiwanis Club and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing book bags and school supplies to students, on Aug. 1.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Stingray Chevrolet dealership, located at 2002 N. Frontage Rd. For more information, contact Sharon Moody at (813) 453-7134.

Friday, Aug. 5

The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the New Teacher Coffee 2022 event, on Aug. 5.

It is an opportunity to welcome new teachers and principals to Plant City.

The program begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be held at the TECO Expo Hall, located at 2301 W. Oak Ave.

Bags of school supplies will be handed out to the teachers.

Supply donations can be dropped off at the chamber office, located at 118 W. Reynolds St. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Needed supplies include pencils, pens, notebooks, paper, glue, scissors, crayons, markers, highlighters, tissues, sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes.

Saturday, Aug. 6

St. Mary’s Community Church will be distributing over 50 book bags with school supplies, on Aug. 6.

The event will begin at 11 a.m., at the building right behind the church, located at 904 E. Renfro St.
