How long have you been cheering?
I have been cheering for 11 years.
What’s your favorite thing about cheering?
My favorite thing about cheer is the friendships I’ve made over the years. I love the push and all the support feels like a family.
Do you prefer game day or comps more, and why?
I prefer competitions more because I love the adrenaline and the feeling of hitting a routine after working so hard in practice.
Do you and your team have any pre-game rituals before a game or comp?
Yes, we usually listen to music together, hype each other up.
What’s an area of cheer that you’d like to improve in?
I’d like to improve my tumbling so I can feel more confident and consistent during routines.
What advice would you give someone who wanted to try out for the Chargers cheer team next year?
My advice would be to practice as much as you can, stay confident, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
When you’re not cheering, what are you doing in your free time?
When I’m not cheering, I like to spend time with friends
Do you have any fun plans over Christmas Break?
Over Christmas Break, I’m not doing anything really special. I’m planning to spend time with family and friends.
