Evan is in 8th grade at Tomlin Middle School, where he just finished the volleyball season for the Tigers.
How long have you been playing volleyball?
I have only been playing for 1 year; this is my first year.
What made you want to try out for the team this year?
This was my last year of middle school, and I really wanted to play a sport, so I tried out.
What’s your favorite thing about volleyball?
My favorite thing about volleyball is having fun playing with my friends
What was your favorite volleyball game this year?
Playing Randall. They were a really tough team. They made us play really hard, and we tried so hard for a chance at county, but they ended up beating us.
What’s been your favorite memory this season?
My favorite memory was probably playing with my team, we made so many good memories on the court.
Are there any rules you would change in volleyball?
I wouldn’t change any rules. The game is perfect how it is.
Are there any sports you plan on trying out for in high school next year?
The sport I plan on trying out for is football. I would love to be on the Plant City football team.
When you’re not playing sports, what are you doing in your free time?
In my free time, I hang out with my friends or play video games with my friends.
