How long have you been cheerleading?
I have been cheering since I was 8 years old.
What’s your favorite thing about cheering?
My favorite thing about cheer is the bond I have made with so many girls since we spend so much time together.
What’s your favorite memory involving cheer?
My favorite memory would be hearing our name called for first place at nationals and our whole team just freaking out.
How fun is game day on Fridays, cheering for your school with your team?
Cheering at games is very fun because I get to do what I love with my best friends, while also watching a football game.
What are you going to miss the most about high school cheer?
I will probably miss traveling with my team the most for big comps, we have so much fun staying in hotels together.
Do you plan on going to college? If so, do you plan on cheering?
I might cheer in college, depending on where I go, but I definitely think it would be a good opportunity to make friends at a new school.
What’s an area of cheer that you want to improve?
I would like to improve my tumbling if I were to cheer in college, since I don’t focus much on it now.
What advice would you give someone wanting to try out for the Raiders team next year?
I would tell someone who wants to try out for the cheer team to go for it and don’t doubt yourself, because you never know what could happen if you don’t try.
What’s a sport that you haven’t played that you want to try and why?
I haven’t ever played soccer, and I think it would be fun and something new to challenge me.
When you’re not cheering, what are you doing in your free time?
When I’m not cheering, I like to go to the gym, hang out with friends, and work.
