Brynlee Bollinger

Brynlee Bollinger is an 8th grader and a cheerleader for the Plant City Dolphins.

How long have you been cheering?

I have been cheering for 3 years.

What’s your favorite thing about cheering?

My favorite thing about cheering is tumbling and being with my friends.

What’s an area of cheering that you want to improve in?

I want to improve my flying and hit more poses.

Do you want to continue cheering in high school?

Yes, I definitely want to keep cheering. It’s a sport I will want to do as long as I can.

On the weekends, would you rather cheer in the mornings or evenings, and why?

I would rather cheer in the evenings because it’s cooler and it’s pretty with the sunset.

What advice would you give someone who wanted to get into cheerleading?

I would tell them it’s all about your confidence. Just believe in yourself and try your best.

What’s your favorite memory when cheering?

The first time I pulled my heel stretch when flying. I was really proud of myself. And my teammates were all so happy for me and cheering for me. It’s felt great!

After cheerleading, what would be your favorite meal to eat?

I would love to have Greek food after cheer or just every day. Specifically Little Greek restaurant, which is my favorite!

Is there a sport that you haven’t played that you’d want to try?

Maybe track because I like running.

When you’re not cheering, what are you doing in your free time?

Answer: When I’m not cheering, I love hanging out with my friends and my family.
