Tolee Eshleman is 14 years old, cheers for the Plant City Dolphins varsity team, and is homeschooled.
How long have you been cheering?
This is my 5th season cheering. I did take a break for a year or two to focus on barrel racing and dog training.
What’s your favorite thing about cheering?
My favorite thing about cheering is tumbling and stunting.
What’s an area of cheering that you want to improve in?
I want to improve in tumbling and jumping.
Do you want to continue cheering in high school?
I am not sure yet about cheering in high school.
On the weekends, would you rather cheer in the mornings or evenings, and why?
I would rather cheer in the evenings because I love the lights!
What advice would you give someone who wanted to get into cheerleading?
The advice I would give someone is to be prepared to push yourself more than you think you can.
What’s your favorite memory when cheering?
My favorite memory is learning and improving my round-off back handspring.
After cheerleading, what would be your favorite meal to eat?
After a hard cheer workout, I love some good pasta!
Is there a sport that you haven’t played that you want to try?
I have tried all the sports I want to try for now, but I would love to get back into barrel racing.
When you’re not cheering, what are you doing in your free time?
I also do theatre with my homeschool group, make music, sing, play guitar, and take care of my horse and dog!
