How long have you been playing football?
I’ve been playing football for eight years.
What’s your favorite thing about football?
My favorite thing about football is how it brings a whole team together into a brotherhood.
What’s an area that you want to improve in your game?
I want to improve on continuing to take more and more command at the line of scrimmage
How does it feel starting the season 2-0?
It feels good starting 2-0, but there are a lot more games to play, and it’s only the start. So, we can’t get comfortable.
Is there a game left on the schedule that you’re most looking forward to and why?
Week 10 last regular season game for us against Plant City is what I’m looking forward to the most because it is our rival; they are in our district, so it could be a district championship game, and we fell short against them last year. We have a chance to get back last game of the regular season at their field.
What’s your favorite memory involving football?
I love winning in general. So, my favorite memory involving football is going undefeated and winning our league championship back in 8th grade youth football for the Pinecrest Pilots, and last year, the team and I had an amazing game against our rivals, Newsome, and that helped our late-season push to get us over the rough beginning of the season and into the playoffs.
How would you describe your game in five words or less?
Gritty, hardworking, and smart
When you’re not playing football, what are you doing in your free time?
Football takes up most of my time, but staying on top of my schoolwork and being social and hanging out with people is how I spend most of my free time.
