How long have you been playing football?
I have been playing football for 7 years. I started with the Wesley Chapel Bulls in 2018 when I was 6 years old. I moved to the Plant City area in 2020 and started with the Plant City Dolphins in 2020.
What’s your favorite thing about football?
The brotherhood that it has created. Being able to play the sport I love with my friends.
What’s your favorite memory of football?
I actually have two. The first was with the Wesley Chapel Bulls during the playoffs against our rival. We were down, but one of my teammates scored a touchdown that won the game, and it took us to the Super Bowl. And my second favorite memory is more recent—this past spring season with the Dolphins. We won the championship game at IMG against the Venice Bulls. Bringing home that win with my teammates was different—we had worked so hard for the win and dominated a team that thought they already had the win secured. Hearing the crowd get loud for us the entire game brought the energy we needed, and walking off the field with my team as champions is something I can’t really describe, but it is a day I will not forget.
What’s an area in football that you want to improve in?
Speed. The faster that I can move, the better chance for me to make something happen for my team.
If you weren’t playing QB, what position would you want to play?
Wide receiver. It would be cool to be the one catching the passes. One of my favorite players is Mike Evans, and I like how he dominates in a game.
Would you rather play football early in the morning or late at night, and why?
Late at night. It’s cooler on the field, and I am more energized.
If you were to play football in college and in the NFL, what teams would you want to play for and why?
For college, my goal is to play for the University of Florida — I want to be a Gator. If I make it to the NFL, I want to play for the Bucs. They are both my favorite teams.
After winning a football game, what meal would you want to eat to celebrate?
My go-to is always chicken wings and fries.
When you’re not playing football, what do you do in your free time?
Playing video games with my friends.
Is there a sport that you haven’t played yet that you would to try? If so, what is it?
Basketball. My dad has always wanted me to play, and over the last few years, I have been wanting to give it a try. I think I would be good at it, and it would help with my stamina.
