How long have you been playing baseball?
I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. My dad coached my T-Ball team so I could be on a team because I was too young to be on a team.
What’s your favorite thing about baseball?
My favorite thing about baseball is the discipline the game teaches you, but I also love fielding.
What’s your favorite memory involving baseball?
My favorite baseball memory is when I was in the 8U Plant City Filthy Pelicans team, someone hit a foul ball out by 3rd base, and I dived for it and caught the ball to make the out.
If you could make your own baseball team, what would you name it and what colors would the uniforms be?
If I could make my own baseball team I would name it Los Caballeros and the colors would be all white.
What’s an area in baseball that you would like to improve?
One of things I want to improve in baseball is my batting.
What’s a sport that you haven’t played on a team that you would like to try and why?
I would really like to play football because since I was in kindergarten we would play football during recess.
When you’re not playing baseball, what are you doing in your free time?
When I’m not at baseball practice or games my dad takes my brother and I to the fields by our house and practices us on our fielding and batting. If it’s raining, we stay in the house and watch baseball games or recaps but it’s always baseball in the house.
What’s your favorite thing that you’ve done so far this summer?
My favorite thing I’ve done so far this summer is playing at the USSSA Space Coast World Series with the Wesley Chapel Storm 9U team.
Thank you to coach TJ Cordero and Kevin McEver for giving me a chance to play with the Filthy Pelicans. I learned a lot and made a lot of friends thanks to them giving me the opportunity to play with them these past four seasons.
