Holton Hoyt
Holton is a 10-year-old who plays for the 10U Ostingers black. Holton had an incredible season, with a batting average of .564, only striking out four times all season.
How long have you been playing baseball?
I’ve been playing since I was 4 in t-ball at Plant City Little League.
Do you have a walk-up song? If so, what is it, and why did you choose it?
My walk-up song would be church clap because it gets everyone hyped up.
What position do you play?
Second base is my main position, but I can play everywhere except catcher.
Do you have a favorite baseball memory?
When I was playing for 9u, I made an inside-the-park home run, and I got to wear a cool MVP chain!
Is there a position you haven’t played that you want to try?
No. I have tried all the positions, but I really love second!
Do you prefer morning, afternoon, or evening games, and why?
I prefer morning games so I can have the rest of the day to do fun stuff after.
If you could make your own jerseys for the team, what colors would you make them?
For a jersey, I would probably say blue, grey, and white.
Is there a sport you haven’t played that you want to try? If so, what and why?
I tried a lot of things before baseball, soccer, football, swimming. I do enjoy soccer a lot, but love baseball so much more.
When you’re not playing baseball, what are you doing in your free time?
drawing. I love to make pictures
What are your plans for the Summer?
I’m doing a baseball camp and pitching and hitting lessons. But I also like to go to the beach and play in the pool, and go to water parks.
