Gage is a 12-year-old 6th grader at Turkey Creek Middle School. He pitches and plays 3rd base for the Miracles travel ball team.
How long have you been playing baseball?
8 years, since I was 4.
What’s your favorite thing about baseball?
Having fun and hanging out with my friends.
Do you prefer pitching or hitting and why?
Hitting, because you get more chances.
What’s your favorite baseball memory ever?
When I won my first gold ring.
What’s an area in baseball that you want to improve in?
Pitching
Do you prefer playing morning or night games, and why?
Morning, because when we are done, I can go hang out with my friends.
Is there a rule you would change in baseball if allowed? If so, why?
I would make the strike zone a bit smaller so people who aren’t so good at baseball can get on base more.
Who’s your favorite baseball player right now, and why?
Randy Arozarena. He’s an OG.
When you’re not playing baseball, what are you doing in your free time?
Playing basketball, video games, at school, or hanging out with my dogs, friends, and family.
What are your favorite songs to get you hyped for a game?
Music doesn’t pump me up, baseball does.
