The pole vault community is nice to each other and helps each other
What’s your favorite memory of pole vaulting?
At my first track meet, I got 1st place with my whole family and friends there to support.
Is this something you want to do in college as well?
Maybe, I’m considering
What’s the hardest thing about pole vaulting?
Try to invert while twist to clear the bar.
What advice would you give someone who wanted to try it for the first time?
I would say the most important thing is that you have to continue pushing yourself even when you mess up.
Is there a sport you want to try that you haven’t already?
Nope, this was the second sport I’ve tried, and I love it.
When you’re not pole vaulting, what are you doing in your free time?
I spend most of my time with the Lord, worshipping, going to church, reading my Bible, watching The Chosen. I’m just glad I get to do what the Lord has in store for me.
